Getting Started with PartnerStack Network Connect
In this article, you’ll learn how to connect your HubSpot Sales Hub to the PartnerStack network to easily onboard your sales team to the PartnerStack network, and start submitting referrals directly from your HubSpot Sales Hub.

Things to know
Here are some key things you should know about the PartnerStack Network Connect app:
- Compatible with all HubSpot Sales Hub plans
- Your organization must have a PartnerStack partner account. If your organization doesn’t have an account, you can create one during install
- The app can be installed by HubSpot users with “App Marketplace Access”. You do not need these permissions to use the app.
- You must have Owner or Admin permissions for your PartnerStack Partner account to authenticate with PartnerStack
About PartnerStack Network Connect
You can think of PartnerStack Network Connect as a fast-pass to the PartnerStack Network.
Instead of logging into your portal, selecting a program, and submitting a lead form, the Network Connect app brings the referral experience directly to your reps in HubSpot making it simple for your sales reps to co-sell with software vendors in the PartnerStack Network to increase close rates, deal size, and earn commissions.
How to use Network Connect
The Network Connect app fits seamlessly with your existing sales process. After installing the app, simply authenticate your PartnerStack account, and place the Referral app card in a convenient spot on your HubSpot Deal view to have access to all of your PartnerStack lead forms in HubSpot.
Network Connect app creates the “Referral” app card that displays on your HubSpot Deal detail screen. The App Card displays all of your PartnerStack partnerships and lead forms to easily submit and track referrals.
Installing PartnerStack Network Connect
The Network Connect app can be installed from your PartnerStack account, or from the HubSpot App Marketplace.
Installing from HubSpot

Login to your HubSpot account

Navigate to the App Marketplace by clicking the 🏠 icon at the top of your dashboard, and select “App Marketplace”

Search for “PartnerStack Network Connect” or click here

Follow the Install flow to authenticate your HubSpot and PartnerStack accounts
Installing from PartnerStack

Login to your PartnerStack partner account

Navigate to your Team Settings, Integrations, and select “Connect to HubSpot”

Setup your HubSpot Deal view for referrals
Once you’ve connected your app, you’ll need to make the “Referrals” app card available to your sales reps.

Navigate to a Deal in HubSpot

Click “Customize Record”

Select the Default view (or the most common view for your team)

Click “Add Card”, and select “Referrals” under the Apps section.

The card has now been added to the view but may be hidden at the bottom of the screen.

Click and drag the Referrals card to an easily accessible location for your team.

Click “Save and Exit”

Go back to your Deals detail screen to submit your first referral
Submitting & Tracking Referrals in Network Connect
All systems are now "go" to start passing referrals to your network partnerships.
When you install the app, every sales rep in HubSpot is automatically added to your PartnerStack account as a member, so every sales rep will have individual access to the referrals tab ensuring their referrals are tracked at a user level.
Submitting a New Referral

Open the Deal you’d like to submit as a referral

Navigate to your Referrals app card, and click “Refer with PartnerStack”

Select the Company you’d like to send the referral to, click Next

Complete the lead form

Click “Send Referral”

- Open the Deal in HubSpot you referred
- Navigate to the Referrals card
- View the up-to-date status of the lead, clicking into the lead for more details
Uninstalling Network Connect
You can disconnect your app in HubSpot by navigating to Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps, and uninstalling PartnerStack Network Connect.
You can also remove your authentication by clicking “Uninstall” in PartnerStack under Team Settings > Integrations.
Note that removing the app will not delete any partnerships, users, or leads created through the App. All your data can still be accessed within your PartnerStack partner account accessible at dash.partnestack.com
