This guide covers how to update your personal account settings, including email frequency, login email address, etc.

Changing your Account Email

If you need to change the email you use to log into your PartnerStack account, follow these steps:

  • Log into your PartnerStack account 
  • Click on your name in the top right-hand corner of your dashboard
  • Select Settings from the drop-down list that appears
  • Scroll down to the Email field, and enter your desired email address
  • Save your changes

Once complete, you'll see this message:

Check your Email

Follow the link in the email we sent to {{your email address}} to confirm your email address and help secure your account. If you did not receive the email, please check your spam folder before trying again.


PartnerStack then sends out two emails.

Old email address - to notify it of the requested account email change.
New email address -  This email contains a link to verify the account email change.

 

Verify the account email change

To complete updating your PartnerStack account's email address, check your email for an email from hello@partnerstackmail.com, titled Account Update: Approve your email on PartnerStack. If you don't see it, check your spam/promotional folders. 

Important note: This link expires in 3 hours. 

Click on the link in the email. Once you've clicked on it, you will be logged out of PartnerStack and landed on the login page. Log in with your new email address. 

Once you've done so, you should see the message "Your email has been successfully updated" at the top of the page!

 

Resend the verify account email 

If the Account Update: Approve your email on PartnerStack link has expired, you can send yourself a new one easily following these steps:

  • Go to dash.partnerstack.com/handshake
  • Enter the email address you were wanting to update the account email to
  • You'll then get a message that says that your request has expired
  • Click on "Resend email"

Search your email for the new link. Make sure you check your promotional and spam folders! 

 

Controlling Email Notifications

These settings control email updates regarding your Partner Account activity.

Note: if you "Unsubscribe" from our emails in your email carrier, this functions as an "Unsubscribe from all" option and you will no longer receive any emails sent from PartnerStack.

The top option, How often do you want to receive email updates on your performance?  refers to the emails we send out on a regular cadence that updates you on your PartnerStack activity. This email cover all program activity, not individual programs. If you are a partner with multiple companies, this email will provide stats for all of the programs.

 

Updating Profile Information

 To update your name, social media information, etc,  click on your name in the top right-hand corner of your account, and select Settings from the list:

To update the email you use to log in to your account, please see the section above titled Changing your Account Email.

If you operate as a business or agency, you can utilize the first & last name fields to include your company name. You can then update your business phone number, main contact email (which will receive all correspondence from programs, alerts for payouts and be a general point of contact), as well as your business social accounts and location.
