Customer performance reporting

Who is this article for?

This article will be useful to you if you are managing a partner referral program and want to track customer activity, revenue, and commissions beyond the initial sign-up.

Customer performance overview

The customer performance report is your essential tool for tracking mid-funnel customer engagement and assessing the health of your affiliate program.

It enables you to review key metrics on a per-customer basis, providing the data you need to confidently report on program performance and fully understand the customer journey.

Accessing the Report

  1. Go to the Performance tab in your left-hand menu
  2. From there, select the Customer performance report, and then click on New Customer report

Report Options and Filtering

The customer performance report provides several options to customize your view and analyze your data. You can set a Date Range to select a specific time frame for the data you want to view.

Filters allow you to refine your report data by:

  • Group
  • Tags
  • Segments
  • Partner
  • Partner Status
  • Partner Source

You can access options to Export the data to a CSV file or Learn more about your report by clicking on the three dots icon located directly to the right of the Filters button.

Customer performance chart

The customer performance chart lists all active customer records in your account (excluding only archived/test entries), even if no actions have been tracked. All columns are sortable, and numerical columns include a grand total at the bottom.

The columns in the report are:

  • Customer Name: The name of the customer, which is clickable to open the customer record in a new tab
  • Customer Email: The email address of the customer
  • Partner Name: The name of the partner attributed to the customer
  • Customer Created At Date: The date the customer was created in PartnerStack
  • Action Type: For each action type you track in your program, a column is created using the type field from the Action object
  • Last Action Date: The date and time the customer last performed this specific action
  • Total Actions: This column sums all other action values (the total count of all actions) across all action types for the customer
