This article will be useful to you if you are managing a partner referral program on PartnerStack and want more insight into your program's performance.
Overview
The Actions tab allows you to see all actions received through the API by partners and each action type.
What is an action?
Actions are custom events sent through the PartnerStack Actions API. The event (action) could be partner-based or customer-based and can be used to trigger reward creation. Depending on your program setup, you may or may not utilize actions to trigger specific rewards for your partners. Learn more about the Actions API here.
Filtering Actions
- Timescale: there are a variety of options for timescale available which allow you to be specific about the period of the data
- Timeframe: there are a variety of options for timeframe available which allow you to be very specific with the dates of the data
- Group name: allows you to select or exclude your existing groups from the data
- Partner Manager Name: allows you to select or exclude data based on the partner manager
- Partner Name: allows you to search for a specific partner by name
- Partner Email: allows you to search for a specific partner by email
- Partner tag: allows you to view partners with a specific tag
- Is Marketplace (Y/N): allows you to include or exclude data specifically from partners acquired through the PartnerStack network
- Is Partnership Archived (Y/N): allows you to include or exclude data of active and inactive partners
Once you've input your desired filters, you'll need to refresh the data by clicking the "Reload" circular arrow icon in the top right of the action section.
The information returned will show you the partner's name, email, the action type and value, the occurrences (number of times the specific action type and value was performed), and the sum of rewards that the partner has earned for this specific action type and action value.
By clicking on the "Occurrences" number you can drill down into this data to view the creation date, partner name, partner email, customer email as well as the action key and reward.
Exporting action data
You have an option to download specific data on numbers, charts, and graphs along with the option to download all data within the Actions tab.
To download specific data within the Actions tab, follow these steps:
- Apply your desired filters and click the "reload" arrow
- Select the three vertical dots in the top right of a specific chart or table
- Select download
- Select desired format (PDF or CSV)
