Deals report overview
The deals report tracks the lifecycle and value of each deal, providing visibility into deal stages, expected revenue, and conversion trends to help you assess pipeline health and close opportunities efficiently.
Click on your "Performance" tab in your left-hand menu to get started and navigate to “Deals”.
Deals data
The deals report tracks the lifecycle and value of each deal, providing visibility into deal stages, expected revenue, and conversion trends to help you assess pipeline health and close opportunities efficiently. You can analyze metrics such as a number of deals, associated revenue, expected revenue, and commissions.
Deals report data columns:
- Number of deals: Total count of deals generated within the specified timeframe.Stage: The current stage (phase) of the deal in the sales funnel.
- Name: The primary contact associated with the deal.
- Account name: The name of the organization or business associated with the deal.
- Partner: The name of the partner.
- Partner key: The partner's partner key (unique identifier).
- Expected revenue: The projected monetary value of each deal is based on initial estimates.
- Associated revenue: Associated revenue generated from all transactions linked to customers for this deal.
- Commissions: The total commission earned within the specified timeframe.
- Group: The name of the group to which the partner belongs.
- Measure date: The timeframe when events occurred.
- Expected close date: Anticipated date for closing the deal, helping forecast revenue timing.
- Partner Manager: The name of the partner manager assigned to the partner.
Deals charts
When you first navigate to your Deals report you will see a bar chart of the number of deals broken down by stage, month over month, for the past year. Your deals visualization can be tailored in a few ways.
- Adjust the data set by clicking the drop-down menu in the top-left
- Choose from the number of deals, associated revenue, expected revenue, commissions
- Adjust your selected primary grouping by clicking the "# selected" dropdown
- Note: This chart will display the first 5 values. Change filters or sort columns to update.
- Adjust the chart visualization by clicking between the chart options
- Choose from: a bar chart, line chart, no visualization
Note: For chart visualizations to appear, a date range must be one of your two selected groupings.
Grouping deals data
Deals data can be grouped by the following categories:
- Group by Deal account name: View individual deal details.
- Group by Stage: Track the distribution of deals across different stages in the pipeline.
- Group by Partner: Evaluate each partner's performance and contributions to the program.
- Group by Group: Gain insights into cohort performance.
- Group by Measure date (Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year): Analyze performance trends over varying periods.
- Group by Partner manager: Evaluate the performance of partner managers.
- Group by Expected close date: Evaluate the performance of partner managers.
Two levels of grouping can be applied simultaneously.
Filtering deals data
The filtering option enables you to refine your deals data by:
- Date range
- Expected close date
- Stage
- Group
- Tags
- Partner
- Status (Active, Inactive)
- Source (Marketplace, External)
- Manager
Exporting data
Your deal data can be exported for further analysis.
To export your data:
- Apply any desired filters and groupings in your report
- Click the three stacked dots and “Export” from the drop-down menu
- Optional: Choose "Export with expanded rows" to include all data, including ones that are not currently in view
- Click "Export now"
- You will receive an email within 30 minutes with a download link
- Click "Download CSV" in the email and ensure you are logged in to your PartnerStack account to complete the export
Troubleshooting data
If you encounter any issues while using the Performance Reporting feature, check the following:
- Ensure your filters and groupings are correctly applied.
- Refresh the page if data is not loading properly.
- Contact our support team if you need further assistance or encounter persistent issues.
