Submitting a referral or lead

Who is this article for?

This article will be useful to you if are a partner on PartnerStack looking to submit your first lead.

Leads are an easy way for you to submit leads and/or sales directly through your account.

Manually submit leads or sales you've brought into a company and earn commission once it's approved!

Note: The option to submit a referral will only be available if the company has enabled referral submission. 

How to submit a lead

To submit a lead or sale to a company, log into your Partner Dashboard, and select the company you wish to submit a referral to. From the program Summary page, you can click the quick "Submit a Referral" link on the right-hand side of the page, or click into your Referrals tab and click "Submit a Referral".

Fill out the referral form ensuring you have filled out all required fields.

Once you're done, click Submit. The referral will then be sent to the company for review. You'll be notified via email when the status of the referral is changed, and you can monitor them from within the Referrals page.

Referral statuses

Once you have submitted your referral,  you can view their most up-to-date status in your Referrals tab "Status" column. If your lead has made a purchase, you will see revenue appear in the "Revenue" column. 

Reward statuses you may see are: New, Qualified, Unqualified, Closed Won, Closed Lost,  Signed Up, Paid. 

These statuses will change as the company goes through the approval process, and also can vary based on the companies individual approval process/rewards system.
